Brand-ing will be working with The Masons Trust again having designed and developed the WordPress website back in April of this year. At the inaugural Climate Run in 2011, over 1000 students each ran 5km raising over £7000 in the process. The magnificent sum has been split between a project in Kenya and an eco-project within each participating school. Gary Ingram ran the race and won the over 30 age group category! After completing the run, participants had free access to the Future’s Village Exhibition where they were able to learn about the wonderful opportunities available to them in energy, renewables, the marine sector, engineering, law, administration, IT, catering, building, planning, journalism, marketing and the fitness industry. They also learnt about the opportunities available to them in higher education.
Next years event is taking place on Thursday 4 October 2012 at the Norfolk Showground. We are looking forward to working on the project again, taking part in the run and raising awareness for this fun but important day out.
